The operation of mechanized vehicles, such as, but not limited to, snowmobiles, go-carts, motorcycles, motor-driven cycles, and mini-bikes, shall be prohibited on school property.

The building principal, in cooperation with the director of operations,  shall develop plans for accommodating the flow of traffic on school roadways, issue traffic regulations, and have responsibility for the assignment of parking areas to staff, students, and visitors to the schools.  Convenient parking spaces shall be designated for handicapped persons in accordance with appropriate state and federal regulations.

The superintendent may specifically authorize exceptions to this policy if such vehicles are used in connection with the district’s educational program or are deemed necessary for service and maintenance of the schools.
